Okay, here we go...This new blog is an attempt by me to share some of my cards with you and
give some instructions as well.  So, please bear with me.  I wish I had a 10 year old here to help
me through this process.  I would welcome any advice/or suggestions on how to make this an
interesting & informative place for sharing ideas and techniques.  But, for now it's all trial and
error.

So, here are three versions of  Black & White themed cards:

Butterfly Card
5-1/2" white card.  Cut 5-1/2" white cardstock and punch around the page with
Pendant Fluer de Lis Shapeabilities. The butterfly is a computer generated image
printed on photo paper and cut out. Pearls were added for dimension and bling.

Starburst Card
5-1/2" square card.  Cut 5-1/2" white cardstock and punch around the page with
Martha Stewart punch.  Die cut on black glossy paper with Spellbinders Floral Burst -
(cut, fold, tuck die).  Cut white cardstock with Spellbinders Label Sixteen and cut
black paper one size down.  Attach white flower from Recollections Embellishments.

Layered Floral Card
5-1/2" embossed square card.  Using the Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Pendant die - I cut
two - one on silver paper and one on pearl white paper and then layered them.  Using
the Spellbinders Labels Sixteen, I cut two - one in black and a smaller one in white.
Also, using the center cutout of the Fleur de Lis I layered and centered them all and
     added a Recollection Floral Embellishment.

That's it for my first effort.  Thanks,   Jan
